Transformation of WELMEC

In 2020, the transition of the international association for legal metrology WELMEC to a legal entity under the German legal system WELMEC e.V. was completed, Pavel Klenovský, the representative of the Czech Republic in the WELMEC e.V. Committee nominated by the Office for Technical Standardization, Metrology and State Testing, was elected as the Chairman of this non-profit association.
In January 2021, WELMEC launched a new website at the current address https://www.welmec.org/. The website provides information on legal metrology within the EU, the activities of WELMEC and the different WELMEC Working Groups. All guidance and information documents and correspondence tables issued by WELMEC are also published on the website.
