Public consultation: Protecting children from dangerous toys and strengthening the single market in the sector - revision of the Toy Safety Directive

In the context of the revision of the Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC, a related public consultation was published on the European Commission's Better Regulation Portal on 2 March 2022 for a 12-week feedback period:

The public consultation is open to contributions from all interested parties. Contributions are welcome from citizens, producers, importers, distributors and other businesses, including SMEs, consumer and industry associations, conformity assessment bodies, NGOs and Member State authorities, including market surveillance and customs authorities.

The public consultation is open for contributions from all interested parties to 25 May 2022.
