Brief instructions for the new TRIS - TBT database
Brief instructions for the new TRIS - TBT database:
After the launch of the new TRIS-TBT database on 16 May 2023 and after securing access to this database according to the TRIS-TBT User Guide from the EC (https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/TRIS-TBT/library), those who create the new draft notification are the contact persons at the departments and other locations (hereinafter referred to as "contact persons"), or their alternates, who have set up a Central Unit User profile Central Unit User. (Note: A template of the Draft Notification, including instructions for completing each field, is available on the ÚNMZ website at the following link:
Contact persons or their alternates also upload the draft regulations, the Impact Assessment Study and the Basic Acts to the TRIS-TBT database, following the instructions in the EC's TRIS-TBT User Guide - see above.
After creating a new Draft Notification in the TRIS - TBT database, in which the contact person will not change anything, he/she will notify the Contact Point for Directive 2015/1535/EU by e-mail, which will then check the correctness of the filling in of the Draft Notification and furthermore, at the written request of the contact person, will insert the standards required by him/her into the TRIS - TBT database. The final form of the Draft Notification, after approval by the contact person, will be forwarded by the Contact Point for Directive 2015/1535/EU to the EC and subsequently inform the contact person of the notification number and the end of the suspension period.
The contact point for Directive 2015/1535/EU enters into the TRIS database - TBT the responses of the Czech Republic to the notifications of other Member States; the responses of the Czech Republic to the responses of the EC and other Member States to the notifications of the Czech Republic and the received full texts, which are forwarded to it electronically in WORD format by the contact person.
The contact person independently monitors the responses received from the EC and other Member States and the stakeholder contributions ("Stakeholder contribution") in the non-public database TRIS - TBT for its notifications. The contact person ensures the preparation of a response to the EC or other Member State responses, which is forwarded electronically to the Contact Point for Directive 2015/1535/EU for transmission to the EC.
